Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Economy and Planning signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Economy of Oman

​The Ministry of Economy and Planning of Saudi Arabia signed today a joint Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Oman's Ministry of Economy. The MOU was signed by the Saudi Minister of Economy and Planning, His Excellency Faisal F. Alibrahim and His Excellency Dr. Said bin Mohammed Al Saqri, Oman's Minister of Economy.

The MOU stipulates the development of cooperation in the field of economy and planning based on mutual interests, and in accordance with the regulations and laws in their countries.

The MOU calls for cooperation in medium and long-term economic planning, economic studies and modeling, economic policies and plans, and the green and circular economy. The implementation of cooperation, within the framework of this memorandum, will be through exchanging information, experiences and studies, mutual visits by the experts and specialists, and hosting conferences, seminars and workshops. The MOU is effective for a period of five years.

The signing of such memoranda enhances joint cooperation between the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and strengthens bilateral relations between the two countries.​​
