Ministry of Economy and Planning Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Center for Non-Profit Sector

The Ministry of Economy and Planning signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Center for Non-Profit Sector, with the aim of cooperating and integrating efforts on initiatives related to developing and empowering non-profit research and think tanks. This includes initiatives related to regulatory frameworks, building an enabling environment for the sector, and advancing social impact measurement methodologies.
The objectives of the MOU include collaboration in exchanging relevant data and indicators related to the non-profit sector in support of shared goals, and providing the required information on the status and needs of the non-profit sector across all regions and governorates of the Kingdom. They also include collaboration between the two entities in the area of spatial development needs, sharing data on social investment opportunities across different regions, and supporting the Ministry's awareness programs for its employees by promoting a culture of non-profit work.
The MOU was signed on behalf of the Ministry of Economy and Planning by Dr. Fahad Alhumaidah, Deputy Minister for Strategic Planning and Institutional Excellence, and on behalf of the National Center for Non-Profit Sector by Ahmed Al suwaillem, Chief Executive Officer.
