HE Minister of Economy and Planning meets with senior officials participating in the 2024 High-Level Political Forum

The Minister of Economy and Planning, His Excellency Faisal F. Alibrahim, held meetings with senior officials on the sidelines of the 2024 High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, which is being held in New York City from July 8-18.
His Excellency met with HE Anekko Risz, Secretary of State for Environment and Circular Economy of Hungary; Hon. Rexon Ramofafia, Minister of National Planning and Development of Solomon Islands; and Abdulaziz bin Nasser Al Khalifa, President of Civil Service and Government Development Bureau, Secretary General of the National Planning Council of Qatar.
During the meetings, the officials discussed enhancing collaboration in various fields and the importance of international cooperation to achieve sustainable development goals, as a driving force for growth and progress.
The Saudi delegation, headed by His Excellency Minister of Economy and Planning, includes representatives from 13 entities from the government sector. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has participated in the forum every year since 2017. HLPF has been held annually since 2015 under the auspices of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
